Raab also collected first day of issue United States and foreign envelopes and stamps, trade cards, calendars, stationery, brochures, announcements, certificates, circulars, postcards illustrating fire apparatus, news clippings and magazines, and illustrations of fire fighting and fire fighting equipment. Most of the material relates to American equipment and events, and in particular, New York City.
